2011 civil services examination
Hi,
For those who want to appear for civil services exam(UPSC) in 2011.
Prelims pattern will change in 2011 ,there would be APTITUDE TEST.
still speculations is going on as to how it would be ,but the mains pattern
and interview will remain as previously.
For your information about the pattern of UPSC examination
There are three phases of this exam which takes around one year to complete.
1.Prelims
2.Mains
3.Interview
Prelims act as screening for candidates ,it is objective in nature,takes place in june.
Mains is descriptive and its marks are counted for final evaluation
it consist of compulsory language papers ,General Studies papers (I&II)
,Optional I papers,Optional II papers,Essay
,it consist of 2000 marks,takes place in October-November
Interview is test of one persona,how that person is ,decision making
capabilties,it consist of 300 marks,it takes place in March-April
this is just to give you an overall idea about exam.
