Tests: OFFLINE or ONLINE ????
Hi friends,
Nowadays there is this trend of online test series and most of the students are also going for it,but is it really useful in your IAS preparation ,thats is the question.
Online tests can be given at one's comfortable timing and also at home on sofa and the best part it can be reset also,so there is no discomfiture, students are getting everything at their leisure, but will it be useful for you on the actual test day????
When one gives an offline test, one has to reach the exam centre,he has to prepare his time table as when he/she has to leave home to reach there, how much time it will take,he/she also has to carry black ballpoint pen, writing pad and when one reaches the venue, one has to search for his seating arrangement.
The above exercise gives one an actual experience of how he/she will have to go about during his/her actual exam so one prepares mentally and the chances of missing venue, reaching late, forgetting pen etc will not be there.
Online exam given on computer cannot match the conditions given during actual CSAT exam, the time taken to click an answer and to blacken a circle differs a lot and in this exam even half a second matters,An online test cannot prepare you for your actual preparation.
The person who takes a test series offline will be more competitive than the person who has taken online series in CSAT exam.
Every step that a student takes should be towards his/her goal of becoming an IAS and every single step matters, its very crucial to bring out the difference between the two.
One should appear as many test offline in exam conditions as possible because it will take away the stress during exam time as one is prepared to utilise his/her time in best possible manner.
So all those appearing for CSAT on 20th MAY ,do register yourself and appear for the mock test on 6th May at TIAS in mira road
